The Effelsberg 21 cm radio comtinuum survey
of the Galactic plane between l=357 and l=95.5

Reich W., Reich P., Furst E.

Summary

We present the results of a radio continuum survey at 21 cm wavelength or the GAlactic plane between 357 <l <95.5 and |l| < 4d caried out with the Effelsberg 100-m radio telescope. The data have been absolutely calibrated by using the Stockert northern sky survey at the same wavelength. Contour maps are shown with a sensitivity of 125 mK Tb (or 61.6 mJy/beam area) at an angular resolution (HPBW) 9.4'. In addition we present a list of 884 compact objects with peak flux densities greater than 98 mJy (or 200 mK of Tb) and apperent sizes less than 16'.

Calibrator S(3C286)= 14.4 Jy Jy at 1408 MHz.

The Effelsberg 21 cm radio comtinuum survey of the Galactic plane between l=95.5d and 240d

Summary

We present the results of a radio continuum survey at 21 cm wavelength orthe Galactic plane between 95.5 < l < 240 and -4 < l < +5o with the Effelsberg 100-m radio telescope. The data have been absolutely calibrated by using the Stockert northern sky survey at the same wavelength. Results are presnted as contour maps are shown with a sensitivity of 100 mK Tb at an angular resolution (HPBW) 9.4'. In addition we extend the list of compact sources given by Reich (1990a) by 1830 new entries. These sources have peak flux densities exceeding 160 mK of Tb (or 79 mJy/beam area) and apperent sizes of less than 16'.

Because of residual sidelobes near ti Cas A we have not tried to fit sources within the area 110d < l <113d and -3.5d < b <-0.5d.
